The club now has a date fixed to run a Special Stages rally at Down Ampney Airfield next year, Saturday 26th June 2010 this is mainly down to the hard work of Mark Holmes who is working extremely hard behind the scenes with myself to cross all the bridges that are you always find in the way when trying to organise large events. This will be the first stage rally that the club has run since 1996 when we last ran the Kemble Stages. We have Kevin Smith to thank for agreeing to take on the role of Clerk of The Course. This position now has to be licensed and you have to be able to demonstrate recent experience, something we lack within the club. We need the whole of our membership to help run this event and therefore entries to the rally will not be accepted from committee members, we will need all the experience we can get to pull this event off.
I urge everyone to get behind the stage rally committee and offer what help you can.

Details for the Alternative Boxing Day Run are late coming out this year, if you wish to take part in this event which falls to the turn of the Austin Healey Club to organise please contact Jeremy Wells or Paul Leyfield, details can be found later in this magazine.

Another of Our Club’s Motor Sport years is drawing to a close, and it has been another very successful one as well!
This just leaves me to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
