I would like to start this months Chairman’s chat by offering a big thank you to all of you who turned out to help the club run its 5th anniversary Corinium Run, and judging by the comments received it would appear to have been the best one so far. The organising team are already working on some new innovations for 2009 to keep the event fresh for our regular participants.

Behind the scenes the committee are working hard on finding new venues with a particular aim of running a stage rally in the near future, going along with the recent club philosophy of innovation and not wishing to use other clubs ideas or venues, we are looking a several new sites that have never been used for motor sport before! Watch this space.

The summer series is now in full swing and just needs YOUR support to be a success. James Goodfield is working hard on the Introduction To Motor Sport Weekend and a planning meeting open to all members will be announced shortly, we need your help and ideas to make this event a success and hopefully we will be announcing a major sponsor for the event shortly.

Don’t forget our club nights held on the first Tuesday of every month held at the Highwayman Inn 8.30pm, a good opportunity to me other club members and have a chat.
